I would recommend staying at Pelican Isle, unless you intend on using the pool a lot, then you might prefer the bigger pool.
Whatever you decide, I highly recommend using Beacon Resorts as your booking agency. They offer free beach chair rentals, a free DVD each day that you pick up at the Tom Thumb store on Santa Rosa and other good deals on Dolphin Cruises and entertainment places like putt-putt and water slides, not to mention fishing and golf.

This past summer was the first time myself or my fiancé had visited the panhandle and we fell in love with it right away. The house we stayed in, Bordeaux, was the perfect size for us and our dog, Chuck. It is bigger than our home, so it was so nice having the ability to stretch our legs, for such an affordable price. The bedrooms were spacious and the living area was very comfortable. Our neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. Also, the customer service and the amenities package were both top-notch. My fiancé took plenty advantage of the free rounds of golf! We will certainly be back!
A solid, clean, up-to-date, comfortable condo with a nice kitchen but not particularly spacious or fancy. Received very good nightly rate, and the Newman Dailey amenities program saved us a good bit of money on golf, mini golf, and the dolphin cruise. Very convenient to the beach and excellent, professional service from Newman Dailey from check-in to check-out.
This is a great unit that is close to many attractions in Destin, but is also away from major highways and intersections. Great access to the beach (just across the street). Awesome amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, coupons for restaurants, golf, fishing, movie rentals, etc. We had a wonderful time!
Shoreline Towers is a great place to stay in Destin, FL. We have stayed at this building (not the same unit) for the past 4 years! Great location, excellent beach access, and my favorite, amenities! The golf makes my trip! The units at Shoreline have all been excellent. I would recommend these units for anyone looking to stay in Destin, especially if you are looking for a bargain.
My family and I had previously canceled our vacation plans due to unexpected events. We found time during the first of July and Resort Quest connected us with this room. We loved it! It was very nice, neat, and clean. We have a teenager and toddler and it was the perfect place to stay for both! The security was great and all facilities were superb. I will stay here again and request this same room! We had more than what we needed, cooking utensils, movies for the toddler, a restaurant we ate at daily straight from playing in the ocean, and a quietly located condo yet only minutes from our favorite spots. The package with free amenities was more than we could use. The deep sea fishing was a first and fantastic experience for my teen and the free go kart and putt putt allowed us more money to spend on dining. Each trip to Panama City Beach I will spend at this condo and hopefully in this room.
Most of the condos include free chair rentals in their weekly rentals. Checkout Newman Dailey’s Funtastic program. It includes 2 free chairs daily, free golf, Big Kahuna’s water park, movies, etc.
My family has just returned from a week long vacation at the Blue Surf. It was our first true ‘family’ vacation with our two young children, ages 2 and 3. The Blue Surf exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect environment for our young family.
As a side note, the management company we used (Newman-Dailey) provided a ‘family fun pack’ with discounts and tickets, including a free round of golf for EACH DAY, free movie rentals, tickets to the local amusement park and tickets for a dolphin cruise. With a young family and a husband that golfs, this was a huge bonus! I think I’ve more than conveyed our satisfaction with the Blue Surf! We are already looking forward to returning in the future!
Yes I have heard of Beacon Resorts, they have a bunch of different properties, for the most part every time we have stayed it has been really nice, and very affordable, and Yes the free stuff is for real, Just the beach service saved us $20 dollars a day. Plus the kids went to Big Kahuna’s and that saved us a lot, my wife wouldn’t let me play golf, but from the pool area the lucky ones said it was a really nice course. Sea Oats is where we stay all the time and they have a beautiful pool area, the staff there is awesome and very nice, hope you have a good trip!!!!!
We’ve used Dale E Peterson Realty for years and have always had great experiences with them. We can usually check in a few hours early. The condos have always been well cleaned and well maintained. They have a huge selection of places (condos, townhomes, houses, on the beach, across the street, etc.). All of their locations come with a free round of golf for each days stay, at some very nice courses. Free movie rental each day. Some come with beach set-ups. Their prices seem more resonable than other companies I’ve looked into.
